Pimoroni is 3

For Pimoroni’s second birthday, we finally outgrew the old spring-storage workshop in Neepsend. After hunting for a while, we found a new home near the train station in Sheffield. The new Pirate Ship is almost 8,000 sq ft of workshop and office that works pretty well for us, especially since it’s close to Street Food Chef and the Rutland Arms

PiPiano: a musical, educational add-on board

Last week we received a surprise parcel from Mike Horne , containing a new add-on board for us to look at. Mike introduced it to us: It’s called the PiPiano and was designed and developed by 14-year-old Zachary Igielman, who is a regular at CamJam and our line-following-robot guru! He’s currently running an Indiegogo campaign for the board which he’s fitting in around his school work

BitScope Micro

We met the folks from BitScope some months ago to talk about their plans for a miniature scope especially for the Raspberry Pi. They’ve just launched the product we discussed today, and our socks have been comprehensively knocked off by it; the engineers who sit behind me think this is one of the most exciting Raspberry Pi add-ons they’ve seen so far. This is the BitScope Micro, built especially for the Raspberry Pi.
